Today our program got a tour of the British Parliament. Unfortunately, we were only allowed to take pictures at the entrance and not throughout the building. So far, this has probably been my favorite architectural and historical site in Europe. There is just so much history over the thousand years that this building has been here. Every single door, floor, threshold, ceiling, etc was filled with amazing detail and precision. Not to mention all of the artwork describing much of the United Kingdom's long and rich history. We got to enter the Chamber of Commons as well as the Chamber of Lords (where the Monarch's Thrones are). Such a cool experience.
After our tour, we went inside a pod of the London Eye. Essentially, it's like an enormous ferris wheel with glass pods that give a spectacular view of the city. It takes about 20 minutes to complete one rotation. After being here for nearly a month, it was cool to see London and the places I've been from above.

It was raining earlier, so most of the pictures from the London Eye aren't very good.
This dude was taking pictures but not of the skyline, so I decided to take a picture of him. It seemed a lot funnier at the time.
