War Horse (January 23rd)

Tonight we went to see the play War Horse. I have to admit I was extremely excited to see the play after seeing the movie. It ended up being really good. At first the horse looked kind of stupid. It was a metal frame with a frilly tail. Inside the frame, there were two men with harnesses on and you could see their legs, and then a third guy walking next to the horse controlling its head. By the end of the show, you almost forget that the people were there at all, and they truly mastered the horses movements and sound effects. Overall, the play was really good and a definite must see. Also, during the intermission I actually ran into Natalie Pelletier, who went to New Trier with me. Small world!
