Alexis was visiting London today on her way back to the States. It was great seeing her, and also a chance for me to go see the tourist sites of London one more time before heading home in a few weeks. Luckily I think she brought the good weather with her, because it was finally sunny and warm for the first time in awhile. It's funny, the Londoners have been complaining about the drought. People aren't allowed to water their gardens or use excess water, but its rained almost everyday in the last few weeks.
We pulled out all of the stops, visiting Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Parliament/Big Ben, Borough Market, Globe Theater, Millennium Bridge, St. Paul's Cathedral, Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. Since we were productive, we did it all. After we had a few drinks and a pub before she went back to her family friends' house. Overall, a great way to spend a Saturday.
