From there, we just wandered around and stumbled upon Trafalgar Square. This is a really famous square in London, and offers a great view of the city. In the square is the National Gallery. We stopped inside and checked out some of the famous artwork. But after being in so many different museums in Europe, we had about enough and left. We continued walking around and made our way to the river. Since it was a nice day, it was nice to just walk around the city. On our way home, we were both hungry so we stopped and got some sandwiches at Subway. Two fast food stops in one day? Well I guess you can take the American out of America, but you can't take America out of the American.

That night, I took the tube to Natalie's apartment to celebrate one of her last nights in London. Sarah met us there. When I showed up, I realized that we were the only Americans there. Since Natalie has been dating a British guy, all of his friends were there. It was really cool to hang out with students our age. One guy asked me if I played any sports at Wash U. When I responded and asked him the same, he replied by telling me that he played field hockey. It's funny, but field hockey is a guys sport here. I couldn't help but chuckle and wondered to myself if they wore kilts when they played. Either way, those boys know their way around a stick.
