I can see the Olympic Stadium and torch from my floor at Citi. The whole time I've worked here, the other interns and I have said that we would visit the olympic village one day after work. After twelve weeks of waiting for nice weather, we finally decided that today nice weather was never going to come. So at 5:15, we left the office and took the tube a few extra stops away. We walked through the Westfield Mall to get to the stadium. Westfield is one of the only huge malls in London, but it is the same chain as the one in Old Orchard.

When we finally got to the site, there were security guards at every entrance and we weren't allowed to walk through the sites! So disappointing. The only way you can see everything is by going inside a store to an observatory deck on one of the upper floors. Oh well, it was still cool to see where the games will be this summer! On a different note, only 6 more days left of work. But who's counting, right?Later that night, I wanted to see the fourth installment of one of my favorite movies of all time- American Pie. It was opening night here in the UK, but I wasn't going to miss it. I loved it and it did a great job of tying in the first three movies.
