When I woke up today, I went with my friend Jodi to the Imperial War Museum. This museum is full of artifacts and weapons from the major world wars. When you walk in the entrance, it takes you through various tanks, submarines and planes. As you go to different floors, you experience various wars, including WW1, WW2, and countless other worldwide affairs. In the WW1 section, there was an area that you walked through a recreated trench and saw the conditions. Another section took you through a submarine. You see all the uniforms, weaponry, as well as conditions for soldiers and civilians from the British, allied, and opposing armies perspective. Also, you can hear various eyewitness accounts from many different eras and standpoints. It was a really cool museum and amazing to think about how different parts of the world were affected by the world in comparison to the US. So far, this has been my favorite museum in London.
